RRR: SS Rajamouli To Announce A New Release Date on Jr NTR's Birthday?
The makers of RRR had previously announced that the film will hit theaters on October 13, 2021, but given the current scenario, there is a possibility that the release date of the film may be pushed yet again.
For some time now there have been many speculations with regards to the release date of RRR. Though the makers have completed 70 % percent of, the film's shoot, there are still 30 to 40 days of shoot pending. They even have to complete two songs with Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt and some major scenes, so given the current condition of our country, it is unlikely that the film will be able to resume shoot anytime soon. Which makes it a little difficult to release on the said date, which is October 13.
While it is said that the makers have already decided to postpone the film to release to next year, a final confirmation is yet to come in. However, some wonder that the director and the team are waiting for a special day to announce the new release date and that could be on Jr NTR's birthday which is on May 20th. Well, it will certainly be a piece of great news for the actor's fans who are super hyped about the film.
Just yesterday, Jr NTR tested positive for COVID-19 and has isolated himself at home along with his family. The actor urged all his fans not to worry as he is taking all the necessary precautions. RRR also features Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn, the film is an epic drama and has NTR and Ram Charan the freedom warriors.
