Samantha Ruth Prabhu, famous for her spectacular roles in Telugu movies, has reportedly signed her debut Hindi film, and will soon start shooting for it. As reported in ETimes, the actress has signed her debut Hindi movie. However, she is yet to make an official announcement for it. While nothing much has been out in the public about Samantha’s Hindi debut, makers are in the midst of putting the rest of the team together. An announcement for it will be made very soon.
After her successful debut in the OTT space with the web series, The Family Man 2, it was reported the actress was keen to sign mainstream projects. National Award-winning actor, Manoj Bajpayee who headlined The Family Man 2, was all praise for the actress. The actor told Spotboye.com, “The first thing I did when I met Samantha in Chennai was to congratulate her on her performance in Super Deluxe where she was magnificent.”
“Her preparation for The Family Man is amazing. I’ve seen her videos where she is seen practising her martial arts and all. This is what I like about my co-stars. When they show so much passion for their roles I get enthused to do my best. When they don’t I try to talk to them. Really, I came away with so much respect for Samantha," he added.
Also, Samantha has reportedly bought a flat for herself in Mumbai in order to focus on her Bollywood career. She has also signed on the dotted lines for another female-centric project in Telugu. Besides this, Samantha also has Shaakuntalam in Telugu and Kaathu Vaakulla Rendu Kaadhal in Tamil. Directed, written and produced by Gunasekhar, Shaakuntalam is in its post-production phase.
