Aamir Dalvi Lusts For Karuna Pandey

Last night, Colors launched its new show Devanshi at Taj, Santacruz in presence of its entire cast. The Karuna Pandey-Aamir Dalvi starree is about the journey of a 7-yr-old child’s (Kashvi Kothari) tryst with a God-woman (Karuna) and how she takes on the God-woman without any power or miracle.



Karuna and Aamir play the characters of Maa Kusum Sundari and Mohan, who con people by propagating blind faith through her quick wit and shrewd thinking. And it is Devanshi played by Kashvi, who is instrumental in getting divine justice for the poor and punishment for the wrong-doers with her simplicity. And thus, people will start believing her to be God.



But the twist in the tale lies here. Aamir, who plays a wrestler by profession, has a female alter ego called Mohini and he is in love with Maa Kusum Sundari. Aamir spoke to us saying, “They are like Bunty-Babli Jodi. They are a crazy couple. While fighting, they will get intimate and start planning to con people. Lust and money go side by side.” Aamir, as Mohini is always by Kusum Sundari’s side as her closest sevika.

Devanshi, which is produced by Sonali and Amir Jaffer of Full House Media Pvt. Ltd., will air October 3 onwardsMonday-Friday at 7pm on Colors.
