After Daya Ben, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Makers Begin Search For New Sonu
SpotboyE.com was the first to report that Disha Vakani aka Daya Ben of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will be replaced soon. Then, we also informed you that the makers have already started auditioning for the character. And now we get you another exclusive scoop directly from the sets that before locking the new Daya Ben, makers want to bring Sonu back.

Sonu's character was last essayed by Nidhi Bhanushali. You may recall we exclusively brought you the scoop in February this year that Nidhi is also quitting the show due to her studies. She is pursuing her BA from Mithibai College (Mumbai) and is quite a studious person. Now she wants to shape her career with education and wants to devote more time to finish her graduation. The production house contemplated on the matter by giving her more time to study and less shoot hours. Yet, it was becoming difficult for the actress to manage work and studies together. Hence, she quit the show. In her exit episode, audience was shown that she goes for higher studies abroad.

However now, makers want to re-introduce the character. And they have started auditioning for a new face to play the role. Soon, they will finalise someone as they have already shot for her comeback episode. Tappu Sena is one of the most important elements of the show and enjoys a good fan following too. But, it seems incomplete without her. Before Nidhi Bhanushali, actress Jheel Mehta played Sonu on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
