Yesterday, we told you exclusively that Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai actress Shubhangi Atre’s marital life is not going too well. And this morning, we woke up to the news of another actor from the show, filing for a divorce. Well yes, Sandeep Anand, who entered the comedy drama, just a week back, has said that he has separated from his wife. 

According to Bollywoodlife.com, Sandeep was not in a happy space with his wife, who hails from a small town of Ujjain. They were facing compatibility issues and Sandeep couldn’t adjust anymore. The actor also told the online portal that the decision was purely his, while his wife wanted to be with him.

Speaking about his troubled marriage, Sandeep told the portal, "These days, relationships in the metros are not working. I came to Mumbai in 2006, I got a few shows due to my theatre experience. And soon under my parent's pressure, I got married, only for their happiness. I got married to a girl who I was not in love with. Soon I realised we both were different. She is from a small town, while I'm in Mumbai. Different culture and different society! But I had some responsibility, so I tried making things better. And I gave seven years of my life to my marriage. I tried hard to work on it, but it didn't work out and things fell apart. Yes, we have filed for divorce. It’s been almost a year since we got separated. I have moved on from my life, and even she has moved on. We also have a son together; however, the kid currently stays with my wife.”

Sandeep also added, "It was not mutual. It is my decision! I thought I have a life and I could do more since I'm ambitious. And I'm very happy with my decision. If I'm not happy then why should I not move on?”

Talking about Shubhangi’s marriage, although the actress, after hearing our side of the story patiently and not losing her temper anywhere during the conversation, refuted the news and said all’s well between her and husband, Peeyush Poorey, yet the word out is that problems are cropping-up as her in-laws are not keen on the actress pursuing her acting career.
