Akangsha Rawat After Her Mother’s Death: “Had Suicidal Thoughts, RadhaKrishn Gave Me A Second Life”
A lot of celebrities go through hell in their personal lives. Akangsha Rawat, who stars in RadhaKrishn is also one of them. She lost her mother, last year, and in a week’s time had to deal with her separation from estranged husband, Piyush Sahdev. We have been bringing to you updates about Piyush and her divorce status and also about the actor’s love life.

This one today, is however, Akangsha baring it all about the lowest phase of her life- a point where the actress was almost ready to commit suicide. But how the show, RadhaKrishn came as a saviour and helped her heal and overcome the issues.

"My mother’s cancer news and my separation happened almost alongside. It was a very tough time. Although I am very strong person yet for the first time, I got a panic attack. It was very traumatic and I couldn't handle it. I shifted to Delhi to be with my mother to nurse her. And at that time I got a call from RadhaKrishn makers, Swastik productions, for the show. But I told them that I can't come as my mother was really sick. But my mom kept insisting that I should audition for the role. She told me I am meant to do this show. Those were probably the last few words I had with her before she breathed her last. Suddenly, after 10 days of my mom passing away, I got a call again from Swastik Productions. I informed that my mom has just passed away. But they said, ‘we will wait for you because we really liked you,’” Akangsha told us.

Akangsha also revealed how she used to get suicidal thoughts at that time and said, " Taking care of a Cancer patient, that too when she is your mother, is extremely painful as you see someone dying in front of you and that too gradually. So, I feel that RadhaKrishn came to me at the time when I needed it the most. I used to get suicidal thoughts, maybe saying that would be a bit harsh, but I was on the verge of a mental breakdown. I will always be thankful to Swastik because if this show did not happen to me, honestly I would have given up on life.”

Interestingly, Akangsha is a true believer of lord Krishna. "I am big devotee of Krishna and with this show I feel that he came to rescue me. In that phase, when most left my side, Krishna sent this show to me,” concluded Akangsha.
