Amit Tandon’s Wife Ruby Out Of Dubai Jail But Can’t Return To India
3 months have rolled by since Dr Ruby Tandon was released from Dubai’s Al Raffa Prison, but she’s yet to come back home to Mumbai

Tandon’s arrest back in August 2017. Amit Tandon’s wife, Ruby, a
celebrity dermatologist by profession, served 10 months in Dubai’s Al Raffa
Jail, and was finally released in May 2018. We brought you the first video
of Ruby, all the way from Dubai, as she embraced her little daughter, as a free
woman.
Ruby’s daughter, Jiyana, could be seen running towards
her at the Dubai airport, both mother and daughter, overjoyed to make contact
with each other after 10 long months, with tears in their eyes.
But it seems the excitement was short lived for the
Tandons. Though, Ruby is still a free woman, it pains her and the family that
she has not been granted the required permit to travel out of Dubai.

Ruby is more or less trapped in a hotel, and she dreams
of returning to Mumbai, where she can resume her personal and professional
life. Back in August 2017, Ruby had been put behind bars as certain DHA (Dubai
Health Authority) officials had alleged that she had threatened a few
government officials there.
As of today, though the lady has been given a clean chit
by the Dubai Police, she is yet to complete some formalities before she can
make the coveted trip back home. She is not permitted to leave the land, until
all due diligence is complete. The decision about when she would be permitted
to come back to India, has not been taken yet. Meanwhile, Amit
Tandon has been making frequent visits to Dubai and is trying all he can to
expedite Ruby’s return to India.
