Ankita Lokhande Didn't Remove Pics With Sushant Singh Rajput From Her Home Soon After Their Breakup; Actress Explains Why
In a recent chat, Ankita Lokhande opened up about her late ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput where she revealed why the pictures with him were not removed even after the breakup
Actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande who shot to fame after starring in Ekta Kapoor's Pavitra Rishta were considered to be one of the cutest couples. The two even shared an abode together for some years before calling it quits. Speaking of which, Ankita opened up about her late ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput where she revealed that the pictures with him were not removed from their house even after the breakup until she realised that it is time to take them down. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ankita said that people would come over to her house after her breakup and urge her to take down his pictures.
“Give me time, yaar. I need my time. I am not somebody… Main 2.5 saal tak unke saath rahi hoon. I have lived my life with those pictures,” she reacted to it. Revealing the reason behind keeping the photos up, Ankita said that it strengthened her so that she could face Sushant if they ever crossed paths. “I am not somebody who will run away from the situation. I was getting up and facing that thing every day so that agar Sushant kabhi mere saamne aaye toh I face him strongly. That was my thought process,” she said.
Eventually, Ankita became comfortable with the idea of taking Sushant’s pictures down and went for it. “I faced it every single day. Ek din aaya when I realised that now I am done, now I need to remove the pictures. And I removed it. I felt that ek jagah khali hogi tabhi toh doosri pictures aayegi. I met Vicky and he is in my life. I am very, very, very happy with him,” she said, adding that her boyfriend is ‘very balanced’.
