Anup Jalota is the latest contestant to exit the Bigg Boss 12 house. The Bhajan singer grabbed eyeballs when he entered the show with his 28-year-old girlfriend, Jasleen Matharu. The two admitted to their relationship on national television, but now, post his eviction, Jalota seems to have gone back on his word and said he was never dating Jasleen.
In yesterday’s episode, Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta entered the house for a short stay as guests and got talking to the contestants. During one such conversation, the Bigg Boss 11 winner happened to tell Jasleen that Anup has been terming their relationship as ‘scripted’ and a ‘musical one’. This leaves her puzzled and she is seen complaining to other contestants that she is ‘disturbed’ by these statements.

On the other hand, at a press conference, Anup Jalota claimed that he is keen to take part in Jasleen Matharu’s ‘kanyadaan’. He said, “Maine inse (pointing towards Jasleen’s father who was also part of the conference) kaha hai ki mujhe Jasleen ki shaadi mein bulaiyega, dono milke kanyadaan karenge.”

"Jasleen came to me with the idea that she can’t go alone to Bigg Boss (Season 12) since they are looking for ‘vichitra jodis’. I initially said 'no' to her suggestion of going as guru-shishya. However, then, her father came to me and said that this might help her career so I agreed. But 6 days before the show, the Bigg Boss team put her up at an outhouse. We couldn’t talk since she didn’t have her phone. Finally, when I went for the first episode shoot, Salman Khan asked me if I have a partner and I replied saying that my student Jasleen is with me.
