Anupamaa Actress Rupali Ganguly Sheds Her Onscreen Sanskari Image, Actress Reveals The Reason Behind It
Rupali Ganguly, who is currently recovering from COVID-19, teased fans by posting pictures of her in an all new avatar
If you are a fan of Rupali Ganguly and are used to seeing her sari-clad avatar in Anupamaa then her latest photos will definitely surprise you. The actor looks no less ravishing in these images. She has taken the oomph factor a notch higher but not lost her playfulness.
“After a point, your fans starts identifying you with your look on your TV show. Well, that’s good because it helps the character to grow. But I also feel then they don’t see the real person the actor is. So, I wanted to do this shoot to highlight that I am not just the characters on screen but something more than that,” she says. Leaving her straight hair look behind, she dons both soft and heavy curls in these monochrome and coloured photos. And the golden streaks are only adding to the look. Ganguly is seen flaunting colourful and flowing tops and black and white shirts. Her makeup is subtle with more focus on her expressive eyes. Rupali further adds, “I enjoy smiling every time I am clicking a photo. My family and friends would vouch for that,” she laughs before adding, “I am getting positive feedback for these photos. Apart from my near and dear ones, my fans also have good things to say about them. I feel these photos mirror a part of me that mostly remains hidden from my fans because they only see me playing different parts on screen.”
Meanwhile, Ganguly is presently recovering from Covid-19. She is home quarantined and taking medicines as suggested by her doctor. The actor is taking good care of her health and looking forward to get back on the sets of Anupamaa soon. .
