For quite some time, rumours are rife that Star Plus’ family drama, Anupamaa will see a new member. Interestingly so, some names of the actor even emerged in the media that led to speculation if Anupamaa will have a new man in her life. Since Vanraj has moved on with Kavya, fans were putting the pieces together. What added more fuel to the fire, rumour mills were also buzzing with Sudhanshu Pandey quitting the show. Seeing so much drama, Rupali Ganguly who is playing the titular role simply laughed it off.
She recently took to her Twitter handle and shared, “kahan kahan se aate hai ye news (From where does this news come from)” Well, in another tweet, actor Ronit Roy, who reportedly will be replacing Sudhanshu Pandey aka Vanraj in the show, also refuted the rumours and stepped forward to clarify the news. He then informed his fans that whenever he signs a new TV show, he'll share the details.
"Off late the digital media is tying me to various TV shows. Maybe in the endeavour to be the first to break the news. All the news is incorrect. Guys calm down. I’m not doing anything on TV as yet. If there is something you will surely get to hear about it from me directly," Ronit tweeted.
Reportedly, other stars like Sharad Kelkar, Ram Kapoor, Kaabil, Varun Badola, Rajeev Khandelwal, Arshad Warsi, actor Shakti Anand, Vishal Singh and Salil Ankola have been approached to play the lead opposite Ganguly. Meanwhile, actor Paras Kalnawat who plays Anupamaa’s son in the show confirmed that Sudhanshu is not leaving the show. “No no, not at all. Who is spreading these rumours? Nothing as such is going on in the production house or in the actor’s group or anywhere else. People are right now shooting in full fledge.
