Actress Ashi Singh who’s known for her hit television show, Aladdin, reveals a hilarious incident that she experienced with one of the cast members of her show Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai. The actress who’s known for her sweet and bubbly nature, spoke candidly about one of the funny incidents she faced before signing the popular show that went into making her a household name in India.
Narrating the situation, she says, “We were having a reading for Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai where I was meeting the entire cast for the very first time. That’s when I met this girl who was also a part of the cast; she was really pretty. She went on to ask me what role I was playing, and I told her that I was playing the character of Naina. Sharing her reaction, she says, “I was totally stunned! Because I had been through days of workshops and signing contracts, and there I sat with this girl telling me that she’s playing the lead. I mean this would have come as a shocker to any actor. But later we all laughed over it when the confusion was cleared, and they assured me that I was playing the lead. We must say that Ashi handled the situation wisely, and thoughtfully waited for the makers to clear the confusion in the situation which could have easily gotten sour.
