Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 Completes 100 Episodes: Nakuul Mehta Calls It A ‘Beautiful And Exciting' Journey; Disha Parmar Says, ‘Priya Has Given Her A New Meaning In Life’

Ekta Kapoor’s popular daily soap ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2’ is one of the most popular and loves shows on television. Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar starrer show has recently crossed the 100 episodes mark. In a recent interview, both Nakuul and Disha talked about this milestone and shared how close the show is to their heart. The duo also spoke about their characters and revealed how Ram and Priya have added a new meaning to their lives.
In an interview with Etimes, Disha, who plays female lead Priya in the show, stated that she feels like it was only yesterday when she was first approached to play such an iconic character. She was quoted saying, “The term ‘time flies’ is true when you’re surrounded by such wonderful people who make work exciting every day. With every episode, we have strived to give something new to the audience. With time, our character arches have beautifully evolved. Priya has given me a new meaning in life. She has given me so much love from the audience and even from my family members. It's absolutely unbelievable that we are a hundred episodes old already.”
Echoing similar sentiments, Nakuul called it a 'beautiful and exciting journey'. He said that Ram is a very special character for him and that he loves bringing him alive on-screen for the viewers. “Through my travels in the last few weeks, it’s been overwhelming to receive the love I have been getting for the show be it London or Delhi. Grateful to the wonderful ensemble I get to jam with each day on set. I want to thank our fans for supporting our journey and for helping us reach here. Here’s to a hundred, even a thousand more episodes! May we always stay in the hearts of our audiences and may we keep giving them reasons to keep coming back to #RaYA,” Nakuul further shared.
On a related note, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 showcases a love story that revolves around two individuals who are in their thirties and find a way to love one another after their marriage. While the first season of the show featured a middle-aged love story, the new season centers around the theme of urban loneliness amongst adults in their 30s.
