Balika Vadhu Actress Surekha Sikri Aka Dadisa In ICU After She Suffers Brain Stroke; Manager Confirms Parameters Are Stable- EXCLUSIVE
Veteran actress Surekha Sikri who is popularly known as Dadisa from hit serial Balika Vadhu has been admitted to Criticare Hospital in Juhu. When we contacted her manager he confirmed the news and said, "Surekha Mam, unfortunately, suffered a stroke in this morning. She is currently admitted in the ICU." He went on to elaborate, "Doctors are saying parameters are stable for the moment but obviously whenever stroke comes the first 2-3 days are quite critical and we have to keep her in complete observation to see how the patient responds. We are hoping and praying for her also want all her fans and well-wishers to do the same".

As per the earlier report in Etimes TV, the actress had suffered a brain stroke and a nurse from confirmed the news but didn't elaborate the details. The nurse who was tending to Surekha Ji picked up her phone when the portal called to confirm the news and said she was conscious. This is not for the first time that the actress has suffered a brain stroke. Surekha Sikri has herself revealed to us that she had a brain stroke in November 2018 while shooting for a film. Talking to us exclusively Surekha Sikri had told SpotboyE.com, "I had a brain stroke in November last year and I fell down when I was shooting. Since then, I’m recovering from a medical situation and my condition is improving. Badhaai Ho released in October and within a month I faced this due to which I got minor paralysis. I am unable to eat much and that's why I have lost a lot of weight. Post recovery the actress had also shot for Zoya Akhtar's Ghost Stories and received appreciation. The actress has also been a three-time national award winner. Surekha Sikri has won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress thrice for Tamas (1988), Mammo (1995) and Badhaai Ho (2018).
