Karan Mehra, who played Naitik in the TV show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' was arrested by the Mumbai police and later granted bail. For the uninitiated, Nisha Rawal filed a complaint against him following a fight. During media interaction, she accused him of having an extramarital affair. Given the current situation, many of their friends from the industry have also come out and taken sides. The latest to come out in support of Karan Mehra is Bigg Boss winner Manveer Gurjar, who had met the actor in the house of Bigg Boss.
One Twitter user wrote, '#KaranMehra and assault, I have not seen this man losing his calm in worst of situations he faced in #BiggBoss & even when people were abusing him, like seriously? Some women take advantage of the societal empathy & y'll join so easily. Why men are not trusted in the first place?' Reacting to the tweet, Gurjar wrote, 'Correct! Totally Agreed... I met him in Bigg Boss 10.. And MARK MY WORDS.. He was soooooooo caring and humble. Hard time bro #KaranMehra Stay strong. Be patient.'
Earlier, in an interview with SpotboyE, Rohan Mehra said, 'I know him since last 5-6 years and he is a very good person in real life. He has been very respectful towards everyone working with him on the sets including technicians.' He further added that he has never seen him lose his temper or raise his voice on somebody.
There are many who are supporting Nisha Rawal and her side of the story. Kashmera Shah came out in support of her and claimed that he hit her and Nisha has been quiet about it all this while. 'We knew there were problems but didn't know to what extent. And you cannot interfere also as a best friend you can just be with her,' she said.
