At present, the gossip mills are buzzing with Rashami Desai and Sidharth Shukla’s never-ending, some over-aggressive, fights inside the Bigg Boss 13 house. The situation had gotten so stern that two ended up spilling some ugly beans in regards to their past and controversies. Well, almost everything about Sidharth Shukla and Rashami Desai is available on the public domain now. However, not many are aware of the fact that three years ago, Rashami Desai was in a relationship with model-turned-actor Laksh Lalwani, who is all set to make his big Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Dostana 2.
It was first in September 2016 that rumours of Rashami Desai seeing Laksh Lalwani surfaced online. The two met on the sets of TV show Adhuri Kahani Hamari, which starred Laksh in the lead role and saw Rashami in a special appearance. It appeared that their closeness grew after a certain point of time and love blossomed. Laksh played a huge role in comforting Rashami post her ugly divorce with Nandish Sandhu. A source close to the duo had told SpotboyE, “Rashmi and Laksh used to spend a lot of time in each other's makeup room during the shoots of Adhuri Kahani Hamari. They never admitted to their relationship then, and it is unlikely that they will admit to it now. Rashmi and Laksh are romantically involved." However, if the reports are to be believed, Rashami Desai's mother disapproved of their relationship because Laksh was 10 years younger to the actress. In fact, Rashami was asked to leave Laksh or her home and she went with the former option. This landed a homeless Rashami in a lot of trouble and she had to rent an apartment in Mumbai's Lokhandwala. In June 2017, reports of Rashami Desai and Laksh Lalwani drifting apart over the latter's affair with his Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil co-star, Aditi Gupta. Well, the couple indeed separated, however, the reason wasn't Aditi.
SpotboyE had exclusively reported how their breakup took place at Laksh’s house party, wherein the rumoured couple got involved in a massive brawl. An eyewitness had told SpotboyE, “Rashami had lied to Laksh about certain things and he came to know about it. When he went to confront Rashami about the same, it turned to be a huge argument between them. Things got extremely violent and Laksh even broke an alcohol bottle in front of her, out of rage.”
They added, “Both of them were quite close and were really fond of each other. They used to be at each other’s house all the time. But after this fight, even though they both tried to get back to normal, it never happened. Gradually, it all fizzled out and they decided to walk different ways.”
Fast forward to 2019, Laksh, in an interview with us, had even wished his ex Rashami Desai good luck on her Bigg Boss 13 journey. He added that the two aren’t in touch anymore.
