It was a link-up which shook up the TV industry. Popular TV star Rashami Desai’s romance with upcoming actor Laksh Lalwani, who at 20 is a decade younger than her, had got tongues wagging. was the first to bring this liaison to light.

Rashami, who currently stars in the popular show Dil Se Dil Tak, had met Laksh on the sets of Adhuri Kahaani Hamari, where she played his Bhabhi.

The Uttaran actress was still officially married to Nandish Sandhu and reports claimed that sparks flew between Rashami and Laksh.

Rashami has maintained that she did not leave her husband for another man , her equation with Laksh was deemed scandalous.

Rashami was so lovelorn that she even went against her mother’s wishes to continue her relationship with Laksh Lalwani.

The fledgling relationship seemed to have hit a rough patch after it was reported that Laksh Lalwani is dating Aditi Gupta from Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil. But let us tell you that was just a rumour and Rashami and Laksh were still very much together.
Rashami also wished Laksh on his birthday, posting a cute message on her Instagram page.

But sources tell that things have come to an end and the former couple are not in touch with each other.

Currently Laksh is in Thailand shooting for his upcoming show Porus, while Rashami is busy shooting her daily soap Dil Se Dil Tak.
This is another heartbreak for Rashami.

Rashami got married to Uttaran co-star Nandish Sandhu on February 12, 2012. One year after their marriage, news broke out that their marriage is on the rocks. After giving it several chances, they finally filed for divorce in 2016.
