Bigg Boss 14: Jaan Kumar Sanu On Differences With His Father Kumar Sanu, 'I Have Done Two Concerts With Him, That Too After Me Pleading With Him'-EXCLUSIVE

Bigg Boss 14 contestant Jaan Kumar Sanu who got evicted this week from the show after receiving less number of votes is constantly making headlines for his personal reasons. Jaan who is the son of legendary singer Kumar Sanu in one of his interviews disclosed how his father has been staying away from his mother and his other two brothers. He said, “We are three brothers and have been single-handedly brought up by my mother, Rita Bhattacharya. My father has never been a part of my life. I have no idea why he never supported or promoted me as a singer – you can ask him why".
Soon after Jaan revealed his father giving no support to him or his family personally or professionally, Kumar Sanu in his interview to the same publication clarified his stand and said, "It is sad that Jaan is saying all this about me when he met me right before he went into the Bigg Boss house. I have always encouraged him. He asked me to call a few industry people who I know. I called Mukesh Bhattji, Ramesh Tauraniji and a few others, and Jaan went to meet them, but now it’s up to them if they want to give him work. In fact, when Jaan wanted to be a part of some of my live concerts, I let him join me for a few". Now talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively Jaan has responded to the same. As he says, "Performing with my Dad and him taking care of me are two different things. I had a few concerts with him as we are in the same line of work. I don't understand the logic of people telling me that your Dad is taking care of you just because they see me singing with him on stage. Till date, I have just done two concerts with him. And that too after me pleading with him for it. Being his son I never had any special privileges. I have had to struggle my way for where I am. Today whatever I am is only because of the hard work I have put in and blessings of my Guru's. But most importantly love and faith of my mother in me". He added, "My father has been away from my family for the last 27 years and I am 26. That should give you a fair idea about exactly how much of a contribution has he given or had in my life. I have met my father countable times and it has always been a very cordial meeting. There have been certain unfair things which he did to us. Now when the world knows about it. I would also like to ask him certain questions but not in the public forum. At the end of the day, he is my father and I love and respect him. But again I would like to clarify just because I have performed in two concerts means he is taking care of me will be a very wrong notion. Whatever I am today is purely because of my mother".
