Nikki Tamboli, who is currently locked inside Bigg Boss 14 house as a contestant, will soon make her Bollywood debut, once she is out of the show. The south actress already bagged a film opposite Mithun Chakraborty's son Namashi Chakraborty and before entering Bigg Boss house, she had shared her excitement about her first film project in Bollywood.
Nikki told SpotboyE.com exclusively, "They actually saw my Instagram profile and decided to meet me. I gave a look test and have been finalised also. I will be playing a NRI girl in the film. Namashi Chakraborty is paired opposite me. They really liked my body and the way I walk and talk. The concept of the film is based on a Punjabi family but it's a proper Bollywood masala film." However, she hasn't shot for the film yet for obvious reasons, "We were supposed to start shooting in March-April but due to the pandemic, we had to shift the schedule. The actress, who is yet to make her mark in Bollywood, didn't feel participation in this controversial reality show will affect her in any way. "I am a person who believes jaisa aap sochte ho waisa aapke saath hota hai. I am not going with a mindset that this show will make or break my career. I am going only for my fans who want to know who is Nikki Tamboli? How is her nature? How does she live? What does she like to wear and more. So, without any negative thought I am going in and I am sure I will not regret my decision. There are a lot of examples who have done great in their careers after coming out whereas there are many who didn't do anything. But again that depends on person to person-how you take your life journey ahead."
The film is a quirky family comedy, titled as India Fashion Factory. Before this, Nikki Tamboli has featured in films like Kanchana 3, Thippora, and Meesam in South.
