One of the biggest highlights of Bigg Boss 16 has been the relationship between actors Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta. More than enough has been said and done about it. Sumbul's friendship with Shalin, his and Tina's relationship being labelled as fake by netizens, Tina claiming Sumbul is obsessed with Shalin, and now Tina's character assassinating her in front of Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, have all been talking points on the internet.

In the recent episode, it was seen that Tina was complaining to Nimrit about how Sumbul constantly ogles at Shalin. Recalling an event, she spoke about how Shalin had thrown the Imlie actress in the swimming pool on her birthday. She went on to share that after Shalin had brought Sumbul outside the pool, he was changing his shirt, and she caught Sumbul looking at him. Her sleazy and mean comments about the 19-year-old have left the fans angry. While a small portion of fans are trying to justify her actions by saying that she is real and is showing that she is jealous, many have started brutally trolling her for speaking ill of a teenager. Bigg Boss’ former contestant VJ Andy also shared his opinions about the episode. Taking to Twitter he wrote, "‘#ShalinBhanot mere liye kapde nikal tha hai’ wow! Shaming a 19yr old on Tv is Tina being mature & classy? How nasty is #TinaDatta gonna get? #Pisachani." Fans have agreed with his comment. For the unversed, it was this clip that had angered Sumbul’s father, Hasan Touqeer, and during a phone conversation he asked his daughter to show Shalin and Tina their ‘aukaat’. He had proceeded to call the duo ‘kamine log', which did not go down well with the netizens.
