Rishab Shetty has become the center of attraction and of course, everyone’s favorite ever since his film ‘Kantara’ hit the theatres. The actor left everyone mighty impressed with his brilliant stint as Kambala champion- who was at loggerheads with an upright DRFO officer, Murali in the film. Amidst all love and praise that Rishab is garnering, an old video of him where he indirectly said he is not keen to work with Rashmika Mandanna and Keerthy Suresh goes viral.

In an old interview with Gulte.com, Shetty was asked with whom he would like to work or cast with in his next project amongst Rashmika Mandanna, Sai Pallavi, Keerthy Suresh, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Replying to this, he said he decides on the actor after finishing the script of the film. Rishab went on to add that he is more interested to work with newcomers as he feels they don’t have any existing baggage. Not just that, the actor said he is not a fan of Keerthy and Rashmika but admires Sai Pallavi and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. This old throwback video of him is now doing the rounds on social media and made many netizens wonder why Rishab said such a thing about Rashmika- who is considered the most talented actress in South cinema.  ALSO READ: WHAT? To note, Rishab Shetty is a good friend of Rashmika’s ex-boyfriend, Rakshit Shetty. The Dear Comrade actress played Rakshit’s love interest in her debut film 'Kirik Party'. After dating each other for a few years, they also got engaged but later broke up.

Meanwhile, ‘Kantara’ was released on 30 September 2022 and emerged as the second-highest-grossing Kannada film of all time, and the second-highest-grossing Kannada film of 2022.
