Salman Khan’s controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss 16’ is all set to entertain viewers and fans from 1st October. Several exciting promos of the show are out and going by them it is quite clear that this season will be bigger and better. While there is much curiosity amongst fans to know about the contestants, the name of the first confirmed celebrity to appear on the show is out. Actor Gautam Vij of ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’ has reportedly been roped in for BB16.
A fan club page of the show shared a picture of the actor and informed people that he is the confirmed contestant of Bigg Boss 16. A few days ago, the Colors channel shared a video of an actor with a mask answering a few questions. Though his face was not revealed, many believed that he is Gautam only. In the teaser video, the actor also confessed that he is a huge fan of Bigg Boss 14 winner and late actor Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz. ALSO READ: Bigg Boss 16: WHAT! However, the channel is yet to confirm Gautam Vij as the confirmed contestant on the reality show. For the unversed, Vij has been a part of the television industry for over 6 years. He is known for his stint in shows like Pinjara Khubsurti Ka, Tantra, Naamkarann and Ishq Subhan Allah, and more.
Meanwhile, speculations are also rife that Sajid Khan, Imlie fame actress Sumbul Touqeer, Surbhi Jyoti, and Anjali Arora might enter the show. Bigg Boss 16 will premiere on October 1, 2022, and will go on air on Colors TV from 9.30 pm onwards.
