Bigg Boss 16: Vikas Gupta Refutes Rumours Of Being A Part Of Salman Khan’s Reality Show; Says, ‘Makers Should Get New People As Contestants’
Vikas Gupta, one of the most loved Bigg Boss contestants, revealed why he declined doing the show again
Indian television producer Vikas Gupta has made a mark for himself in the industry by participating Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss season 11. He returned to the show as a mentor to the contestants and guide them throughout during seasons 13 and 14. It was heavily rumoured that he will be returning to the current season, as a wild card contestant.
However, dismissing the rumours in a recent tweet, Vikas revealed that he has declined the offers. Sharing an explanation on the same, he revealed that the current contestants are doing a good job of garnering TRPs and he was new faces to have a chance to enter the house and show their skills. He wrote, “It was a No Last Year & It remains the same this year. Personally I feel @ColorsTV should get new people in the #Biggboss house as contestants. For the unversed, the 34-year-old producer was known as the mastermind of his season. His game was lauded by many and he was seen as a potential winner of the show. Season 11 was won by Shilpa Shinde. The makers of the show had offered Vikas an opportunity to enter the house last year as well, but like his statement states, he declined the offer.
