The Narcotics Control Bureau has been on its toes ever since Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case when several names emerged from the industry hinting at their connection with drug peddlers and possessing banned substances. Recent one to come under the radar of NCB is Bigg Boss 7 contestant and TV actor Ajaz Khan. The actor was reported to be nabbed from the airport for an enquiry. Just a while ago, the actor was seen arriving at NCB office probably for the next round of interrogation.
As per his statement in the media, he stated that all the accusations on him were false and the agency did not find anything with him while he was at the airport and also at his residence. Meanwhile, he also stated 4 tablets found belonged to his wife as she was consuming it to battle depression post her miscarriage. As reported in ANI News in their tweet, he said, "Only 4 sleeping pills were found at my home. My wife has suffered a miscarriage & is using these pills as antidepressants."
Meanwhile, the NCB mentioned finding alprazolam tablets from his residence during their investigation in Andheri and Lokhandwala.
Besides this ANI News mentioned in their tweets, the actor being taken for medical tests before NCB produces him in front of the court for remand. NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede commenting on Ajay Khan coming under the radar of NCB said, "We have found his involvement in the Shadab Batata case and he is definitely facing some serious charges.
