Bigg Boss OTT: Contestant Neha Bhasin Recalls The Time When She Was Body Shamed
Singer Neha Bhasin was the first contestant to be confirmed for the much awaited reality show, Bigg Boss OTT, by Colors TV. Ever since the announcement, she has been hitting the headlines with candid confessions. She recently recalled an incident when she was body shamed. In an interview with Zoom TV, she said she felt targeted as her stomach was circled by a TV channel. In addition, she was told that the particular video, featuring her, won’t be published as she looked fat in it. She, however, just weighed 49 kg then.

Neha said, “Of course, my stomach was circled on the television in a meeting and I was told that this video is not being released because I am fat. And this was when I was like 49 kg...When I left home, I was a very normal kid with no insecurities or issues, but that was just the beginning. There are a million instances and I can write a book on that.”

The Bigg Boss OTT contestant added, “Today, I am a grown-up but there are 18-19 year olds who come here, sapne leke aate hai ki sab acha hoga (they come with dreams that everything will turn out well). They should know good things will happen but bad things will happen too. I am not saying that the world is all bad but sometimes, you have to go through it all.”


Just ahead of BB OTT, Neha said that she understands the fan following and connect the show has. "Participants have had positive changes who have entered the BB house. I hope my career, which is already good, gets better with my participation [in the popular reality show]."
