Buzz: Varun Toorkey Steps Into Namik Paul’s Shoes In Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2
Ekta Kapoor has dropped Namik Paul from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and now, SpotboyE.com has exclusively learnt that Varun Toorkey will be replacing him
A few days back, we brought you an exclusive report that producer Ekta Kapoor has dropped Namik Paul from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and instead finalised him to play the main lead on Kavach 2 opposite Deepika Singh.
Now we hear that the character which Namik was supposed to play in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 will be essayed by TV actor Varun Toorkey. Varun whom we last saw in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai opposite Shivangi Joshi will become the support system for Prerna (Erica Fernandes) to ruin Anurag’s (Parth Samthaan) life.
Now we hear that the character which Namik was supposed to play in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 will be essayed by TV actor Varun Toorkey. Varun whom we last saw in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai opposite Shivangi Joshi will become the support system for Prerna (Erica Fernandes) to ruin Anurag’s (Parth Samthaan) life.
We called up Varun to know the truth and here’s what he said, "I am yet to get a confirmation from them and sign a contract. So don't think it will be right to confirm anything now. But yes I am in talks with them".
If all goes well then Varun will enter the much-hyped show. The actor has been a part of successful shows like Qubool Hai, Uttaran and Saam Daam Dand Bhed.
Speaking of the developments on the show, Hina Khan who essays the negative role of Komolika will be on her way out very soon as she has certain Bollywood commitments to fulfill. “It’s a break and I may or may not return to the show” is Hina Khan’s stance as of now.
However, a few weeks back, SpotboyE.com had reported that Hina won’t be replaced and instead a new villain will be introduced on the show. Meanwhile, we had also reported of the blossoming romance between Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes in real life. The duo has been arriving, eating and leaving together from the sets. This is a case of history repeating itself as in the first part too, Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan got close during the shooting.
