She was like a breath of fresh air in the show and fans really appreciated her for taking such kind of role. However, her stint to end this month as she won’t be continuing with the hosting. In a recent chat with an online publication, she revealed that her stint was for only some time and hence, will not be hosting the show anymore.

When asked about the duration of the hosting period, she was quoted saying to TOI, “It won't be too long. In fact, my series with 'Crime Patrol' may end by the end of this month. It was supposed to be for only some time (she was on air from the third week of December 2020). It was always going to be a short stint. I did it for a change. I was thrilled that I was getting a chance to talk about women empowerment. There have even been certain episodes where I have been moved a lot and given my inputs regarding the content, including some end links and solutions.”

Apart from that, Divyanka Tripathi is also getting praises for showing some fresh and vibrant fashion onscreen while hosting the crime show. Usually, the hosts are seen wearing subdued and mundane colours but we got to see some lovely suits- not too loud but yet making a refreshing statement.

When she was asked about his actor husband Vivek Dahiya’s take on this, she said, “He found me hot when he saw my promo for the first time. He loved the look. We don't discuss my dresses on a regular basis, though.”
