This morning, we woke up to the rattling news of an explosion in a Paris bakery. The incident, which took place at 9 am (local time), is said to have been caused by a gas leak but the authorities continue to investigate the matter. Until now, 3 people have died, 10 people are seriously injured (including a firefighter) and 37 people are in a state of relative emergency.

TV couple, Gurmeet Chaudhary and Debina Bonnerjee are currently in Paris and guess what? They were metres away from the explosion site. In fact, they both took to their respective social media accounts to extend condolences and inform fans that they are safe. Debina wrote, "With regards to d #Paris blast due to gas leak @gurruchoudhary and I ARE FINE🏻. Even though I felt the impact in my window and when came out at 9.30 there was fire fighters and ambulances in the road. I posted on insta thinking it’s some kind of Paris protest. Heartfelt 4 Paris".
