You can imagine what Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul must have felt when they got into the flight from Australia to India. According to latest reports in Times Of India, Mayank Agarwal and Vijay Shankar have been asked to get ready to join the Indian squad in Australia. But we also learn from NTDV Sports that Mayank is nursing a niggle and hence Shubhman Gill might get a chance.

It has not been a happy time for Virat after the much-celebrated victory in the Test series. Team India went down very badly in the first ODI played at Sydney on Saturday, Rohit Sharma and M S Dhoni being just the two players who impressed. Will Mayank and Vijay be soon inducted into the playing XI? We can't say for Vijay but if Dhawan fails again in the second ODI, Mayank (if he goes) might find himself in the centre.. Mayank shone brilliantly in the Test series, averaging 65 after he was flown in as a replacement for the injured Prithvi Shaw. Vijay, on the other hand, has played five T20s as a middle order batsman who also bowls medium pace. AS for Gill, he was a prominent member of the Under-19 World Cup winning team last year.
For those who've come in late, Harbhajan castigated KL Rahul and Hardik both yesterday while speaking to India Today. The blunt Sardar who speaks his mind said that 'he wouldn't like to travel with his wife and daughter in the same bus which has Hardik and Rahul'.

Hardik's staff- PR/manager, have gone incognito. We chased them down yesterday but they simply refused to comment anything on the matter. It has been felt that Hardik's apology letter was drafted by his PR Agency, but surprisingly the Agency in question has still not denied it.

So yeah, it's all happening there. We only pray that Hardik and Rahul learn something in life from this experience and focus only on the field whenever they return to play.
