Deepika Singh Back In Front Of Cam, Fit As A Fiddle After Her Maternity Break; Shoots For Kavach 2
Back to where she belonged. Deepika Singh returns on the sets. We bet she must have been delighted. After all, it's Ekta Kapoor's Kavach 2. Namik Paul has joined her
The wait is over! If you were eagerly waiting to watch Deepika Singh in the second edition of Kavach produced by Ekta Kapoor, let us tell you that she has started shooting (the maternity break finally over) and will soon be on your TV screen. The show's male lead Namik Paul has also started work on the show. A source close to Kavach 2 has told us, "Deepika and Namik shot for their mahurat scene in a Shiv Temple located in Naigaon. Deepika looked very happy, she waited quite a bit before getting a nice break. She did not want to take up anything fluffy for just the heck of it."
Had it not been for Mona Singh's refusal, who knows Deepika might not have been considered for Kavach 2. We don't know if Ekta wanted to continue the story with Mona & Co. The first part starred Mona with Vivek Dahiya and Mahek Chahel, who later got replaced by Sara Khan.

On not being a part of the sequel, Mona Singh had told us exclusively, "Yes, Kavach 2 is coming. And I did get approached for it after all it’s my show. But my months are packed for almost 5-6 months. Hence I will not be part of it. But I am equally excited to go on air and I will be glued to the TV screen". When asked if her fans will miss her, "I don’t think so, but still if they miss me I will request them to watch the show with the new star cast and give equal love".
Kavach 2 is likely to replace Naagin 3, which is fast coming to an end. Naagin 3 had slipped quite a bit in the TRPs in the last 5-6 weeks, but has somehow managed to climb up a bit recently.
It will be interesting to see whether the new jodi- Deepika and Namik- can create magic? Go for it guys, we are watching!
