contestant, Ajaz Khan, claims that Mumbai Police & BMC invited him as the
chief guest for an event jointly organised by the two bodies. But was he? Ahem!
Mumbai Police
shut down Ajaz’s tall claim on their social media handle. They wrote, “We
appreciate your gratitude for the efforts of @MumbaiPolice for the
wellbeing of the city, but misplaced gratitude barely serves any purpose.
Kindly recollect correctly who were you invited by and where, because we were
not there.”

And pat came a
reply from Mr Khan lamenting that the Mumbai Police did not do “proper
homework” and that he was indeed invited as the chief guest.
Ouch! Was Ajaz
actually invited for the event, or he showed up for 5 minutes for fame?
