Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is currently promoting his upcoming movie, Sooryavanshi in full swing. Helmed by Rohit Shetty, the movie was scheduled to release in Summer 2020, but was pushed ahead due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, as the film is set to see the light of the day, Akki was seen gracing Amitabh Bachchan hosted TV quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 13, along with Rohit Shetty and Katrina Kaif. The 'Shaandaar Shukravaar' episode of KBC 13 will see Akki revealing a lot of unknown deets about his life.
When Big B asked Khiladi Kumar about his life, before he set his foot in the cinematic world, Akki replied that he used to purchase and sell Kundan jewellery minting a profit of Rs. 11,000 to Rs. 12,000. He told the host, “I used to sell Kundan jewellery. I used to purchase it from Delhi for about Rs 7,000 to Rs 10,000 and would come to Mumbai to sell it, which would help me earn a profit of Rs 11,000 to 12,000. I did this for about 3 to 4 years.”
When Big B quizzed the Mission Mangal actor to share some deets from the phase when he worked as a chef, his reply had an amazing revelation made by the actor.
While he mentioned the variety of dishes he cooked, he shared sticking 4 people’s pictures on the wall that included Amitabh Bachcha, Jackie Chan, Sridevi and Sylvester Stallone. And his fortune and his hard work got to him an opportunity to work with all four of them. He said, “I used to make and serve jalebis, chole-bhathure, samosas at an eating joint. He continued, “There used to be a wall right behind me and usually in every restaurant, the chefs usually put up a picture of someone on the walls. I had four people's pictures put up on my wall. Yours, Jackie Chan, Sridevi and Sylvester Stallone's images. And, look at my fate today! I've worked with all four. I could've never imagined in my life that something like this would happen but it's a surprisingly wonderful ("Ajeeb sa Ajooba") thing that happened in my life that I got to work with all four actors.”
