Kanishka Soni took to her Instagram handle to announce her sologamy. She shared a picture of wearing sindoor on her forehead a simple mangalsutra. She sported a casual look wearing a pink top and blue denim pants. Meanwhile, her Facebook account was hacked and giving them a savage reply she posted a video of her singing a song. Interestingly, she left the TV industry to TV industry to pursue a career in Hollywood. She got enrolled in New York Film Academy as that's where most of the star kids study. She had expressed happiness over being on par with them as reported by BollywoodLife.
The 34-year-old actress is also a singer. She has performed with Harrdy Sandhu and the late singer, Sidhu Moosewala.
On the work front, apart from Diya Aur Baati Hum she has appeared in Begusarai, Pavitra Rishta, Do Dil Ek Jaan, and Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala. She was also seen in mythological shows like Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev,, Mahabharat, Devi Adi Parashakti and Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanumaan. Kanishka made her acting debut with the 2013 Tamil film Pathayeram Kodi, and later worked in the Telugu film Devaraya.
The actress also participated in the reality show Bathroom Singer in 2007 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 2.
