Reports say a thickish fluid was found in the television actress’s uterus during post-mortem, suggesting early pregnancy. “The fluid has been preserved and sent for histopathology tests, to confirm pregnancy and to rule out infection within the uterus,” said police surgeon Dr S.M. Patil.
Pratyusha, who rose to fame as Aanandi of popular TV show Balika Vadhu, was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her Goregaon residence on Friday. Meanwhile, Rahul, who is being interrogated by the Mumbai Police in connection with the case, was hospitalised a short while ago because of chest pain and low blood pressure.
