The actor who was last seen in Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke gained immense appreciation and love from the fans of the show. Today, Shaheer Sheikh is celebrating his 36th birthday and producer Ekta Kapoor just made a very sweet birthday wish for her ‘jeejajeee’. She took to her Instagram to share a throwback picture that features his wife Ruchikaa Kapoor, and other friends like Ridhi Dogra, Krstyle D’Souza and more.
The same picture was earlier shared by Ekta when Shaheer and Ruchikaa got married. Captioning the lovely snap, Ekta wrote, “Happie bday jeejajeee”. While we did not see a reply from the birthday boy, Krystle dropped a heart emoticon under Ekta’s post. Meanwhile, we also did not see a special post from Ruchikaa dedicated to Shaheer. No matter what, we are sure she must be planning to do something grand. As he turned a year older, Shaheer revealed that he doesn’t ‘really’ celebrate his birthday.
“There have been times when I’ve forgotten my birthday. If I had my way, I would want everyone to forget it. As I come from a humble background, as a kid, I never celebrated my birthday. In the routine of life and trying to make ends meet, my parents would forget our birthdays. Now it is a tradition that my sisters and I, we all, forget each other birthdays (laughs),” reveals the actor to HT.
He also mentioned that he likes to keep his birthday celebration a low-key affair. “Yes, my fans do show their love with messages and gifts, which is really sweet. They do make me special. I try to stay low-key and don’t like to be the centre of attention. It’s weird, I know,” he says to the portal.
