SpotboyE.com had reported that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Hina Khan's father passed away due to cardiac arrest. After his tragic demise, stars from the Telly world like Kanchi Singh, Eijaz Khan, Hiten Tejwani, Nikki Tamboli, Vikas Gupta, Himanshi Khurana, Rubina Dilaik, Rakhi Sawant and more took to their respective Instagram handles and paid their heartfelt tributes to her father. However, recently Hina Khan’s Bigg Boss 14’s co-Toofani Senior, Gauahar Khan was mercilessly trolled for not offering condolence to Hina who had earlier made a post asking Gauahar to ‘stay strong’ when her father passed away.
During Gauahar's live one of the users belittled her for not commenting 'R.I.P' on social media. This irked Gauahar and she lost her cool as she was quoted saying by TOI, “Because I am not a fake person to put it out only on social media. What I had to do, I did it. My connection with Hina is from my heart and I don't need to prove my connection to really silly people like you. So, please keep your negativity to yourself and don't bring it here. I am an individual and I take my decisions on a personal level. What I feel and how I feel, I react accordingly, and I will always do that, and I have her dad in my prayers, her in my prayers, and I don't need to prove anything to silly people like you, who only live your lives on social media and think just by putting condolence on social media, you are feeling something, that's not true. When you feel, you feel. And, when you feel, you reach out to the person. You don't have to prove it to the 'janta' (public), understand.. This just makes me so angry.”
For the unversed, the portal also mentioned that on the night when Hina's dad passed away, Gauahar along with her husband Zaid had rushed to Kokilaben hospital.
Earlier, Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan was also trolled when she started posting pictures and dance videos, a month after her father’s demise. That time, she also chose to give a befitting reply by saying that one can't cry and be in sadness for more than three days but have to move on. “Don't you dare and keep your judgements to yourself and let people be, the way they want to heal, the way they want to come out of things, the way they want to function, stop judging people,” she told, as per the portal.
