Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin fans are gearing up to bid adieu to their favourites Neil Bhatt’s Virat Chavan and Ayesha Singh’s Sai Joshi. Being one of the most watched shows on Star Plus, it is all set to take a generational leap. The makers will be wrapping up Sai and Virat’s love story, with the current plot. In the previous episodes it was seen that Virat and Sai do their best to protect everyone from the hijackers.
According to a report by Bollywood Life, with their track coming to an end, the makers of the show have asked the actor's to not work together for the next five years. Yes, you read that right! Quoting a tweet by Gossips TV, the entertainment portal reports that Ayesha and Neil were made to sign a contract that stated, they won't collaborate with each other for the next few years. The reason behind this was that the makers wanted to maintain the legacy of SaiRat and the bond the audience shares with the iconic characters. While there has been no official confirmation on the same, the news has left fans heartbroken. Talking about Ayesha and Neil's real-life bond, there have been reports about the actress and his wife Aishwarya Sharma, who was also a pivotal part of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, didn’t get along well. It led to rumours about things going south between the Ayesha and Neil as well. While everyone associated with the show refused to comment on it, keeping their answers short and vague, it became a huge talking point on social media. It even led to Aishwarya being brutally criticised on the internet by the netizens. After the generational leap, the show will focus on the lives of Vinayak and Savi. Actors Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma have been roped in to play the new leads Ishaan and Savi of the show. The makers of the show had recently issued a statement on their decision to take the generational leap. They had stated that the original plot of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, which was adapted by the Bengali show Kusum Dola, was exhausted. They want to focus on the new generation and a new plot line.
