Ever since the third phase of the vaccination drive began, and made eligible all those above 18 years to get the COVID-19 vaccine, we have been seeing a lot of celebrities posting pictures of them receiving their first jab of the vaccine. With the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, and the devastating second wave, it is now extremely important to get vaccinated. TV couple Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee recently received their first jab of COVID-19 vaccine. They took to their respective social media handles to share pictures, and urged fans to get vaccinated.

Gurmeet Choudhary, in his caption, asked fans to get vaccinated without having any second thought, as it will greatly help amid the COVID-19 crisis. He asked fans to register at the nearest and available centers, and that while the slots may take time, they will appear. “Please don’t wait for any kind of “this or that” thoughts or news, vaccination is very important not only for you but for all your surroundings, this is one of the biggest way of how you can help #India is to get yourself vaccinated.,” he wrote, while sharing a snap of him getting the jab.

Meanwhile, Debina wrote how she never would’ve imagined that getting vaccinated would be worthy of a special post. “Never ever thought that me getting a vaccination would be “Post”worthy! Excitement and Mixed emotions all at once.. But it is what it is.. Utmost important in this time and situation that we are going through, this is the best that we can do for us and for the people around us,” she wrote.



Debina also asked people to get vaccinated without any fear. “Let’s break the chain and go forward without any fear and get vaccinated don’t think “ki pehele yea log kar le fir hum karenege” or compare our vaccinations to others… What is important is VERY IMPORTANT and this is how we can bring change, help India healing by getting ourselves vaccinated so please guys register yourself and get yourself vaccinated,” she wrote.

Gurmeet Choudhary and wife Debina Bonnerjee had tested positive for Coronavirus last year, in October. They had shared a note on Instagram back then, informing fans about their diagnosis.
