Well,
the reports have come. So, was Sidharth Shukla drunk that evening or is he just
a reckless driver? The news that has come on our table just few minutes back is
that Sidhath's blood tests which were sent to determine alcohol traces in him,
have come negative.
FYI,
the Dil Se Dil Tak actor got involved in a major road accident on July 21 at
Oshiwara, Mumbai. Oshiwara. The police had then confirmed with SpotboyE.com
that there was a collision between 3-4 vehicles, of which one belonged to
Sidharth. Reportedly, he was driving his BMW near Shreeji Hotel (Oshiwara)
when he banged into an Innova, and the collision impacted two other cars within
striking distance. Later, a police complaint was filed against him at
Oshiwara Police Station, under sections 279 and 337 IPC. However, these being
bailable offences, the actor got bailed almost immediately. We don't know if
the cops who had grilled him suspected that he was in an inebriated state, but
we guess that the test was anyway a formality to check if Sidharth had
committed the criminal offence of drunken driving.

Shukla chose to remain unavailable for comment. Repeated calls and text message
failed to evoke a reply from him.
Sidharth made his
TV debut in 2008. His profile has successful shows like Balika Vadhu, Khatron
Ke Khiladi , Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Dil Se Dil Tak (from which he was
replaced). He entered Bollywood with Karan Johar’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya
starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, but failed to sustain.
