Television actor Hina Khan has reacted to Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao’s divorce announcement. Taking to her Instagram stories, the actress expressed she is ‘heartbroken’ but mentioned she has respect for the ex-couple. Aamir Khan’s divorce from Kiran Rao has come as a shock to his fans. Earlier on Saturday, Kiran and Aamir issued a joint statement announcing their divorce and left everyone startled. They were married for 15 years and are parents to a 9-year-old son, Azad. Aamir and Kiran parted on amicable terms.
The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress shared a post made by a paparazzo and expressed her thoughts. She added a few heartbroken emojis and wrote, “(Heartbroken emojis) but to be the best one must learn, how to handle the worst. #NothingButGraceful Wishing you both all the best." Hina spoke about how to handle the worst, one must learn to be the best. She finally wished the couple ‘all the best’ for their future.

In a joint statement released by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, the couple said, “We began a planned separation some time ago, and now feel comfortable to formalise this arrangement, of living separately yet sharing our lives the way an extended family does. We remain devoted parents to our son Azad, who we will nurture and raise together. We will also continue to work as collaborators on films, Paani Foundation, and other projects that we feel passionate about." Aamir and Kiran thanked their families and friends for their support and understanding.
