Imlie Actor Gashmeer Mahajani On World Environment Day: 'The Amount Of Awareness That Is Being Created Now Is A Positive Sign'- EXCLUSIVE
Actor Gashmeer Mahajani who’s currently winning hearts in the hit television show, Imlie, spoke about the amount of awareness the masses have been creating about climate change, and global warming- and how it’s a positive change.

Today being World Environment day, and several people holding awareness campaigns to spread the word about global warming, Gashmeer says, “Well, I feel that the climatic changes are a result of our wrongdoings and the way we have abused our natural resources for hundreds of years, so something as serious as global warming is bound to happen. But not just looking at the negative side, I feel the amount of awareness that is being created now about global warming and the precautionary actions that need to be taken by us to control the damage that we've already done and bring it down as much as possible, is a positive sign which was not there earlier- maybe around ten years back. People were careless and no one spoke about it." Also read: 'I Would Love My Child To Be Exposed To A Mask Free Environment,' Says Addite Malik On World Environment Day- EXCLUSIVE

He further adds, “But now that a lot of voices are being raised, and a lot of people are aware of the climate change, and the global warming issue which is great. Although the change won't happen overnight. But at least the concern is raised now and people are starting to become aware. And if not our generation, but the future generations will be nurtured in that way from the childhood itself; they will be taught in school about the hazards of global warming. And hopefully, the children of the future will then turn out to be more responsible than us as we feel we are more responsible than our previous generations- now that we're made aware of it. So, that's a positive side." Also read: Gashmeer Mahajani's On-Screen Injury Scares His Two Year Old Kid Behind The Sets
