However, it is undeniable that the show has a huge audience, and many people enjoy hearing the talented contestants. Did you know Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda has also been following this season? Well, the star kid gave a glimpse of her favourite contestant this season- and it is none other than Sawai Bhatt!
Looks like Navya Naveli Nanda is in awe of Sawai Bhatt’s singing talent, and she took to her Instagram stories to laud him and cheer for him. Navya Nanda was watching Indian Idol 12 last night, and she shared a snapshot from last night’s episode which showed Sawai’s performance. Singers Udit Narayan and Abhijeet Bhattacharjee appeared as guests on the episode, and Sawai was seen crooning Udit Narayan’s song Udja Kale Kawan. Clearly, Navya Nanda is rooting for his win, and is awestruck by his voice!
Sawai won hearts with his performance yesterday, and even Udit Narayan was all praise for him and called him one of the finest talents of this season of Indian Idol.
Sawai is a puppeteer and singer from Nagaur in Rajasthan. Udit Narayan said on the reality show, “During my childhood, my favorite hobby was watching Kathputli acts and, I used to spend hours and hours watching them. It is because of this that I feel like I have a personal attachment with Sawai Bhat. The way he has progressed since joining the show has been outstanding. I can proudly say that he is one of Indian Idol’s finest talent of this season".
