Indian Idol 12, the singing reality show, has a massive fan base and viewers love watching the young singers perform. The show is nearing its finals and only a few contestants are left on the show. Last week, singer Sawai Bhatt was evicted from the show. His elimination left his fans and the audience enraged. In the latest episode of Indian Idol 12, contestant Ashish Kulkarni was eliminated from the show during the latest episode. Singer Shanmukhapriya was another contestant who was in the danger zone. And was saved from going back home.

The netizens are not pleased with this. They are not happy with Ashish’s elimination and suggested Shanmukhapriya should have been evicted. The Twitterati expressed their disappointment over the decision of the makers. Taking to Twitter, one user wrote, “It's unfair to ashish... He should be in top 3...Please vote to right contestants... #Ashishkulkarni #indianidol12.” Another user wrote, “#IndianIdol Really a worst decision of eliminating #AshishKulkarni. Why are you waiting for Finale? Will not be surprised if you declare #ShanmukhPriya as the Winner of this season.” Netizens called Ashish’s elimination as the “worst decision” made by the makers. They even called his eviction “unfair”.

In the latest episode, Ashish performed the song Dil Dena Khel Hai Dildaar Ka -- when legendary singer Asha Bhosale set foot on the stage of Indian Idol 12. After Ashish’s elimination, the participants contesting for the trophy are Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Shanmukhapriya, Sayli Kamble, Mohammad Danish and Nihal Tauro.
