The singing reality show Indian Idol 12 has welcomed an interesting list of celebrities including A R Rahman, Rekha, Kumar Sani and many others. This upcoming weekend, the audience will see veteran actress Zeenat Aman making a special appearance on the show. During the show, the contestants will be seen delivering some fabulous performances. They will be seen making the star feel special by singing some of her famous hit tracks, making her nostalgic. On the show, Zeenat Aman bestows contestant Pawandeep Rajan with a title after he delivers a stellar performance.
The highlight of the upcoming special episode will see Pawandeep Rajan performing on songs Hum Tumhe Chahate Hain Aise and Ek Ajnabee Hasina Se. Before starting his second song, Rajan walks up to Zeenat Aman and does a sweet gesture. He removes a rose from his jacket in his simplistic nature and presents it to the actress. Rajan will then continue to sing the second song. Zeenat Aman will be left in awe of Pawandeep’s sweet gesture. After his performance, the veteran actress will be seen praising Rajan.
Zeenat Aman compliments Pawandeep on playing a number of instruments and will be heard saying, “ I am aware that you play a lot of instruments. You’re such a genius because. I tried learning the piano once but got of the habit and now, because of you, I feel encouraged to start learning again.” She will add, “After my song Chura Liya Hai Tumne came out, I was known as, ‘The Girl with the Guitar’ and soon, people will know you as, ‘The Pahadi boy with the Guitar.’ All my blessings are with you.” The veteran actress will be heard giving Pawandeep Rajan the title ‘ The Pahadi boy with the Guitar’.
Meanwhile, Pawandeep Rajan said he is honoured with the compliments he received from Zeenat Aman. He said, “Being appreciated and acknowledged by such a huge icon is beyond words. I am so honored that Zeenatji loved my performance and gave me the title of ‘Pahadi boy with the guitar’.” He revealed that the actor’s kind words motivated him further. Rajan mentioned “it was a great feeling being in the same room and Zeenat Ji” and said he is eternally grateful for this occurrence.
