Danish Zehen died in a car accident in the wee hours of December 20. The popular YouTuber and Ace Of Space contestant was returning from a wedding when the unfortunate incident took place on the Vashi Highway. His last rites were conducted on December 21 and thousands of fans had gathered to bid him a tearful goodbye.
Reports suggest that after the 21-year-old’s demise, his followers on Instagram shot up 870k to 1.4M in a matter of hours. This resulted in Instagram pulling his handle down. Goes without saying, fans were extremely disheartened at not being able to access his profile.

Now, Vikas Gupta has taken to social media to request Instagram to reinstate his handle. He also asks fans to spread the word and tag Instagram so that the request is noticed. His post on Instagram reads, “Tribute by @mtvindia for @danish_zehen It's a request to @instagramto please reinstate #danishzehen Instagram account. His family has sent emails and tried contacting but there is no response so far. This is very important for his family and people who love him please share this and tag @instagram on comments so that they take into notice. His Ace Of Space friends Divya Agarwal, Varun Sood, Pratik Sehajpal and Fizah Khan couldn’t control their tears when Vikas broke the news to them.
