Jannat Zubair Rehmani And Ajaz Khan's OTT Reality Show, Tokers House Postponed- EXCLUSIVE
Amidst the COVID-19 crisis, many shows and films are being canned or delayed, here's one more addition to the list
Those who were waiting to see their famous Tiktokers coming together to entertain them via a new reality show Tokers house, to be hosted by Ajaz Khan and Jannat Zubair Rehmani, will be disappointed to hear that the show has been delayed indefinitely.
Last year, in October, the show was announced with a theme song, where famous Tiktokers came together to promote their upcoming show.
Now, the casting director of the show, Noor Siddiquie has revealed to us that due to Covid-19 crisis, the whole idea has been put on hold.
He added, "We had planned to start with the show in March, however the lockdown got announced just then. The whole set up was ready in Malaysia and if everything would have gone as per our plan, we would have streamed the series on July 5, 2020." Well, those who have come in late, the reality show, Tokers House was slated to stream LIVE on a digital platform. With Ajaz Khan and Jannat Zubair Rehmani jointly hosting the show, 26 popular media influencers were meant to participate in the show which included names like Faisal Sheikh (Faisu), Hasnain Khan, Faiz Baloch, Adnan Sheikh, Shadaan (Saddu 07), Shifa Memon, Sohu, Shayaan Siddiqui, Faizal Siddiqui, Soumya Daundkar, Kajal Jadhav, SRK, Ashima Choudhary, Sana Khan, Lucky Dancer, Nisha Guragain and Israil Ali. Talking about the concept of the show, the contestants were supposed to be locked together but would have had access to their phones and social media partially. They would have stayed together but were supposed to do tasks out. However, now with the current situation let's see when and if at all the show takes place.
