Megastar Amitabh Bachchan reveals he is a pledged organ donor, wears a green ribbon on KBC 12
It’s a delight to watch megastar Amitabh Bachchan once taking on the small screen and entertaining people. 12th season of TV quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati commenced recently, and once again the megastar has us saluting him, as he spoke about organ donation. Following by taking a pledge for the same, he wore a green ribbon on his blazer for one of the episodes, shot recently. The actor after recovering from COVID-19, sprung back in action and shot for several projects.
Sharing a picture of him on his Instagram handle, he wrote, “…the distinction of the wear of the GREEN ribbon ..I AM A PLEDGED ORGAN DONOR ! .. bearing the giving of life to another !!” The actor in one of his previous Instagram posts had shared about shooting for 15 hours, in the picture he was seen wearing a mask which has been a new normal due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The actor has been dropping several snippets of the show on his social media handle, thus treating his followers.

Just before the first episode of the show was scheduled to air, Abhishek Bachchan had tweeted, “9 baj gaye kya???? #KBC Can’t wait. Tonight 9pm IST on Sony Tv. #KBCisback.”
Also the Big B in order to follow social practicing, will not be shaking hands with the contestants; makers confirmed it will be an elbow bump. The director of the show said, “Mr Bachchan keeps saying, ‘Kitna vichitra ho gaya hai (how strange is this)’. Since a handshake is discouraged in the prevailing situation, Mr Bachchan has devised an elbow bump. He does it in a cute manner, fans will surely imitate him.”
