He is currently in Cape Town, South Africa, shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, and he recently shared a video clip mentioning what he learnt from the host Rohit Shetty.
In the video shared from Cape Town, Rahul Vaidya can be seen saying that Rohit Shetty shared an invaluable lesson with him, and he feels that he should share it with his fans. He spoke about charity, and said that Rohit Shetty told him that the best way to help the underprivileged is to offer them food, and that donating food is the highest form of charity. He said that when you offer someone money, the person at the receiving end, will never say no to money, as they will keep wanting more. However, if one offers food to the needy, the person will only eat as much as they need.
“Insaan ko aap paise offer karo Rs 1 crore, Rs 2 crore... kabhi mana nahi karega, aur chahiye, aur chahiye, aur chahiye. But agar aap kisi ko khana offer karte ho, woh ek roti khayega, do roti khayega lekin 25 roti khane ke baad bolega ab mera bas ho gaya,” said Rahul Vaidya.
Rahul Vaidya then urged everyone to keep feeding the underprivileged, if they can. “Please keep feeding people, please keep feeding all the poor around you. I think that will fetch you a lot of blessings,” he said.
