Late Pratyusha Banerjee’s Ex-Boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh Opens Up About Moving On, Wants To Embrace Fatherhood Soon, 'No One Wants Pain And Sadness'
Late actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s then BF Rahul Raj Singh speaks about beginning to start a family when the right time comes
Actor Rahul Raj Singh remained in news after the death of TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, as the two were reported to be in a relationship, when the news of the actress’ sudden death hit the headlines. The actor has finally moved on in his life and has settled down by tying the knot to actress Saloni Sharma in 2018. As reported in Times of India, the Mata Ki Chowki fame actor has opened up about the next phase in his life, i.e. embracing parenthood.
Firstly he spoke about how his parents and wife helped him move on to have a better life; also as now he sees people and colleagues around him embracing parenthood, he shares of waiting for the right time. He said, "Like anyone else even I wish to live a happy life. I also want to overcome my loss and move on with happy memories. No one wants pain and sadness in life. I'm married for two year but still waiting for the right time to start a family. My parents and wife have a lot of hope in me. And I want to keep them happy as they supported me in my hard times. They trusted me."
Also he wishes to become a father, but doesn’t want his child to be part of his hard times. Meanwhile, he shares in embracing parenthood, his wife’s decision is also of equal importance.
The actor says, "I wish to become a dad, especially when I read about others or see my friends enjoying that happy phase of parenthood with their kids. But I feel till the time I don't prove myself, I'll have to wait as I don't want my children to be part of all the bad times in my life. But again, I can't be selfish so I feel it will be my wife's decision too about when to have kids. But abhi time hai."
Rahul back in 2016 was accused for his GF Pratyusha's death, was charged in abetment of suicide. Speaking about it he shared that karma will punish TV actress Kamya Punjabi and Vikas Gupta who pounced on him when the investigation of the late actress’ death was on. He also thanked his wife for being on his side in all the highs and lows of his life. He said, "Since I got married, my wife has been part of my ups and down. I'm blessed that God has sent her to be with me. After Pratyusha, my life became like a story of TV show. And I'm still struggling for my happy life, but all this while I'm standing strong and I realised how my family and wife are helping to come out of this pain. However, god has help me come this far, but I still have a long way." He further adds, "I'm waiting for the day Karma punishes Kamya, and Vikas and all those who misused the situation for their own benefits. And the day is not far. Vikas is already paying for his (bad) karma as he himself revealed a lot in the show, if that's true."
