Lock Upp: Poonam Pandey Gets EVICTED From The Show After Saisha Shinde Defeated Her In The Task Ahead Of Finale
Poonam Pandey has been evicted from ‘Lock Upp’ after she was defeated by Saisha Shinde in the arena task
Poonam Pandey is the latest contestant to have got evicted from the reality show ‘Lock Upp’. Pandey’s eviction has left everyone quite shocked as she was considered to be the top contender for the show. She got eliminated from the house ahead of the finale, which will take place this weekend. Poonam was shown the gate after Saisha Shinde defeated her in the arena task in the Tuesday episode. On the last Judgement Day episode, Kangana Ranaut put Poonam and Saisha in the bottom two and said a 'Dangal' would take place between them, and the one who would lose it will get evicted.
Jailor Karan Kundra introduced this Dangal task named ‘Patli Gali Se Nikal’ to both the ladies. The task required Saisha and Poonam to cross each other via a tunnel and press buzzers on the other end in separate rounds. Saisha managed to defeat her and thus emerged victorious in the task. Hence, Poonam Pandey got evicted from the show. She was given a standing ovation by all inmates. During her stay inside the house, Poonam Pandey had made some shocking revelations to survive in the game. Be it talking about suffering domestic abuse for four years from ex-husband Sam Bombay or revealing she was suicidal, Poonam indeed put a brave front and shared the dark secret of her life with the world. In one of the episodes, she revealed that she was domestically abused for four years by Sam Bombay. Poonam had said, “I didn't have the ba**s to be vocal. I would still pose for nice photos, talk so casually. My face was black and blue, I would put makeup on top of it and go to events.”
Post her exit, Poonam in an interview stated that she wants comedian Munawar Faruqui to win Lock Upp.
